Alternative Provision for 14 - 25 years
Welcome to Lands End Equestrian Centre's Alternative Provision for 14 - 25 years . We are dedicated to providing a unique and supportive learning environment for school-age children interested in equestrian activities. Our alternative provision courses offer Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 equestrian training, tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each child.
As a centre we have fully qualified supportive staff and we work with our students in small groups to ensure each student receives the support and care they require to thrive.
All staff are DBS checked, have level 3 safeguarding and are qualified Riding for the disabled coaches
Students can attend weekly term time from 2 / 3 hours per week up to 3 / 4 full days. Over the course the student will work towards achieving an award, certificate and diploma.
Level 1 Equestrian Course
Our Level 1 Equestrian Course is designed to introduce students to the basics of horse care. Participants will learn essential skills such as grooming, tacking up, and basic riding techniques in a safe and supportive environment.
Level 2 Equestrian Course
The Level 2 Equestrian Course builds upon the foundations laid in Level 1, focusing on more advanced stable management, and horse health care. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their confidence and abilities under the guidance of our qualified instructors.
Level 3 Equestrian Course
Our Level 3 Equestrian Course is designed for more experienced riders looking to refine their skills and knowledge in preparation for further equestrian pursuits. Participants will receive tailored coaching and support to help them achieve their goals in the equestrian field.
